Calgary, Alberta --- June 11, 2024 --- Nureva Inc., an innovator in advanced audio conferencing solutions, announces the Nureva® App, a web-based tool designed to enhance the setup and configuration of its HDL pro series systems, as well as manage a comprehensive range of audio device settings. This robust companion to the HDL310 and HDL410 devices provides extra convenience to IT managers and integrators, as it can be accessed through the local area network (LAN). There’s no need for a continuous internet connection, software downloads or account creation.
Currently in beta, the Nureva App includes several advanced features tailored to the needs of IT managers overseeing meeting rooms and classrooms. In the app, they can open the HDL410 system’s dynamic coverage map to review real-time sound event visualizations and create camera zones. They can turn on a new AI-enabled voice detection feature that enhances the sound location data for camera tracking by distinguishing voices from ambient noise. In addition, a device setup tool provides step-by-step instructions to streamline installation. Unlike with traditional pro AV setups that require multiple software tools and extensive technical expertise, the Nureva App automates much of the setup and configuration tasks — significantly reducing installation time and errors that can affect audio quality.

IT managers and integrators already have remote access to devices through Nureva Console. Coverage map
Available with the HDL410 system, the coverage map generates a real-time visualization of all sound events in a room to show exactly where voices are being picked up. The size can be adjusted to scale to the room dimensions.
Camera zones
Up to eight camera zones can be defined for sound detection, used for camera tracking with the HDL310 and HDL410 systems. Additionally, in the app the HDL410 system’s sound location data can be used to automatically switch camera views in Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
Voice detection
This new feature of the HDL410 system delivers enhanced camera tracking and switching accuracy by distinguishing human voices from background noise.
Device setup tool
Step-by-step installation tips are provided for pro series audio systems, reducing installation and setup time.
Audio device settings
A wide range of settings is available directly through the app, including microphone pickup zones and speakers. Users can tune the microphone EQ and turn on Voice Amplification Mode, ensuring optimal audio quality tailored to specific room characteristics.
Availability and pricing
Currently in beta, the web-based version of the Nureva App will be available in August 2024 at no additional cost to Nureva HDL310 and HDL410 customers.
