To use Intelligent Recap, start by recording a meeting. This creates an accurate transcript of everything that was said. Then, after the meeting, there are several features you can try. For example:

• Generate personalized follow-up tasks to assign to meeting participants so everyone knows the next steps.

But to do all this, Teams needs to have clearly picked up everyone’s voice and identified who’s speaking. This isn’t an issue on standard Teams calls, when everyone is joining from their own laptop. But in larger Teams Rooms without speaker recognition, the audio can only be attributed to the overall space instead of each person in the room.
