How to try our audio in your spaces — with no risk and no hassle

One of the things we obsess over is giving people the experience with our products that they want and expect. Not only does this apply when they have purchased our audio systems and are using them, but it also applies during their pre-purchase deliberations.

I really enjoy getting into the field to learn firsthand what matters to people as they consider our products. I appreciate hearing their questions, seeing their spaces, observing their reactions — these are rich interactions, so I take every opportunity I can to see and hear what’s going on for myself.

On-site demos in minutes

Last year, I joined our French distributor and their reseller on a field visit to resolve poor audio pickup in the meeting room for the country president of a well-known global company. The room had been set up during COVID in anticipation of everyone’s return to the office, but it had never performed to the expectations of those who were remote in the president’s meetings.

Something had to be done, so the company called on their reseller, who suggested our product.

Our distributor brought his demo system into the meeting room on a small trolley, and within 5 minutes he had the tripod stand set up, the backboard mounted and the microphone and speaker bar affixed to the backboard, all while answering the IT manager’s questions and listening to his issues. Within another 5 minutes, he was in a live Microsoft® Teams call with the IT manager, who had moved into a remote space so he could experience the audio pickup as our distributor demonstrated our product’s ability to pick up audio around the entire room.

It turned out to be a very short confirmatory on-site demo, but very typical for someone with a known problem. For me, it validated just how easy we make it to get full-room mic pickup in larger spaces. It also validated that for some, there’s just no alternative to proving out a product in THE space in which it will be used.

Making evaluations easy

Many organizations want to put our products through a more rigorous on-site evaluation. While an on-site or remote demo may answer some questions, to make a decision on standardization, IT departments increasingly want to take their time to test a solution in multiple spaces along with other pieces of the overall classroom or meeting room solution. Some of those on-site evaluations might be performed at the same time other audio systems are being evaluated in a shoot-out format. In all cases, the product will be on-site for several days versus an hour or two.

But the needs are the same as with an on-site demo — quickly and easily set up the system, try out the pickup in multiple locations around the room (while seated, standing and walking) and have at least one person remote (even if that is just down the hall) to witness or rate performance. Through on-site evaluations, organizations can assess how our systems deliver in terms of sound quality, ease of integration with other components and overall performance in a variety of settings.

The fact that Nureva® audio systems self-calibrate at first use and continuously thereafter makes them ideal for on-site evaluations. No programming is required to set up the system for testing in each room, so on-site evaluations can be not just readily supported but successfully undertaken by many organizations on their own.

We can ship the system to a given location and, following a few brief pointers on settings for the chosen UC&C application, testers can set up and evaluate the systems themselves. For those who prefer a little more support, we offer guided evaluations with remote assistance.

Is Nureva audio right for you?

We’ve worked hard to make on-site evaluations easy for everyone through delivering kits containing all the components — both the audio system itself as well as the portable mounting kit (either a tripod or four-legged stand with back panel).

And recently, we’ve introduced a simple-to-use acoustic check tool that allows anyone with an iOS device to check out room acoustic properties and validate optimal installation locations.

Our audio systems are increasingly the perfect answer for higher education and corporate customers seeking a forward-looking solution for their classrooms and/or meeting rooms. Just as important, though, we offer the evaluation options that make the whole experience easy for our customers when they’re deciding on how they’ll standardize.

Reach out to us to see if you qualify for a no-charge on-site evaluation. We have multiple evaluation systems that are continually moving to and from organizations in North America. Globally, many of our distributors support this same on-site evaluation process.
